He's not Mr. Debonair Suave. He's just a regular boy who goofs around, pulls pranks, and makes jokes. That sounds very hot to me o3o
If you're into the Rooster Teeth Gaming Community(Youtube) I've made a side blog for it! The theme is a WIP because the header isn't working properly, but check it out if you're interested!

I have truly come to distinguish those who understand what being respectful means, and those who don’t. At the moment, I am quite disgusted at the “welcome” that we gave him in the chaos of the comment forum. Excited that I was to see his familiar face on one of the few social media sites that I’m on, I left a brief welcome note of my own: “Welcome to Insta! Can’t wait to see the fun you two will have on here!” Then I decided to scroll through some of the other comments.
I closed out of Instagram horrified at some of the things I read.
Now, before I accidentally offend anyone here, I want to start off by saying I was very happy to see a lot of respectful, kind comments in the fray. Not everyone reacted the way that I’m exposing below, and I’m so glad about that. I just want to point out what some of the people say in the comments that just aren’t okay, and should stop saying on Jensen’s posts.
Of course, there’s always those proverbial comments where the user claims something along the lines of, “OMG, JJ’s prettier than I’ll ever be #ugh #jealous”. I believe I skimmed over about 10+ variations of that comment in the small portion I scrolled through.
First off, saying something like that about a 2-year-old little girl, especially on her father’s Instagram page, is just all-around wrong. How is saying something like that even considered a compliment? Those people are already objectifying a toddler by comparing her appearance to their own. How do you think Jensen feels about that? I would feel awful about making my fans react that way by merely showing them my daughter. Stop. Stop putting societal pressures on a girl who can barely walk.
Some other comments were just plain crude and gross. “He’s my babydaddy,” “Marry me PLZ,” and “Bedroom?” were just some of the few. And then you guys wonder why Jensen is so shy and careful about posting things? Those comments are just downright unnecessary and, worse yet, UNCOMFORTABLE. Imagine being a married man with your baby daughter sitting next to you as you read those remarks. Simply humiliating. It’s called keeping some thoughts to yourself, or even on your blog, where he won’t see it. It’s not that hard, and it prevents a lot of embarrassment on his end.
And the worst comment of all? (If I had known I was going to write this then, I would have screenshotted it):
“@[insertusernamehere] Look at our beautiful daughter ♥♥♥”
That is crossing WAY over the line.
JJ is NOT your daughter. JJ is Jensen and Danneel’s daughter. Not yours. Even if it was meant as a harmless joke, it’s not funny.
No wonder Jensen and Danneel were so conscious about not releasing pictures of their daughter during babyhood. Creeps like that probably make them want to go into reclusion forever.
But you know what? They keep going with their posts. They show more pictures. They update their statuses. All for you guys.
And at this point, we can see how uncomfortable Jensen is becoming with being involved with so many social networking sites. When Jensen put up his photo on IG, he then posted on Facebook:
Now, it could just be me receiving mixed signals here, but there is a complete lack of Jensen’s usual energy and excitement here. Instead, he sounds annoyed. He sounds strained. He sounds irritated.
There is no doubt in my mind that Jensen was pressured into Instagram, somehow. But you know what? He did it anyways, for all of us. He posted a photo of him with his daughter, for all of us. He does these things to connect more with us, his fans.
So please, for the love of everything that is good and right in this world, be respectful and polite to him and his family. Think: “Would Jensen feel comfortable if I told him this face-to-face?” Celebrities should feel at ease with their fanbase, not cautious and unsure.
It’s sad that someone should even have to say this at all.
Caution: Watch out for this. You’ll enter a blog, and a pop-up looking like the one above will appear asking you to log into Tumblr to verify your age. DO.NOT.DO.IT. Basically, you’ll give the hacker your login information and they will use your blog as they have done the one above. Seriously, take my word for it. It’s NOT Tumblr. Please pass the message along. For some, our blogs are our lives. And it could all be gone in an instant.
glassclosetcastiel and I are getting our ducks in a row, because wow, it’s only been a couple days and y’all are REALLY into this idea. I AM SO STOKED.
So I’ma ask you a quick favor if you’re digging this idea. Okay, a couple quick favors.
I don’t ask you guys for a lot, but I’m asking today.
Robbie Thompson is still getting a lot of snark and hate about writing a line that, when changed on set the day of filming, implied that Cas saved the world. Brothers-only fans are not only losing their minds, they’re TAGGING Thompson in all the flailing.
He wrote this beautiful episode and his Twitter mentions are full of assholes. I don’t mind if you enjoy the show how YOU want to, but tagging someone in all your hate is crossing a line.
So could everyone take a few seconds and tweet him some positivity? “I loved the episode” is great, but it’d be awesome if you mentioned something specific about it.
It’s easy to ignore “Good job!” if the next tweet is “You ruined the characters in these specific ways.” That’s how feedback works, people concentrate on the negative.
For instance, I just tweeted him that when he writes, the characters seem like real people. Specific praise for things he did well would go a long way towards drowning out the assholes.
Just, you know, if you have two spare minutes today. Make sure Thompson knows that we appreciate how well he gets this fandom!
Erik Kripke had initially intended to have Sam & Dean drive a ‘65 Mustang but went with the ‘67 Impala because his neighbor said you couldn't fit a body in the trunk of a Mustang, you would need a car like an Impala.
It does not say Federal Bureau of Investigation on Sam and Dean’s FBI badges. That’s because even if it’s just being made for a prop on a TV show, it is illegal to make a fake FBI badge. Instead they read: The Federal Bureau of Justice, United States Department of Investigation.
Sam and Dean were originally supposed to find their dad on the very first episode burning dead on the ceiling, but this was later changed to Jess.
Eric Kripke’s original idea for what would become Supernatural was a show following a pair of reporters going to investigate urban legends and writing about them in their newspaper column, and was going to be called Unnatural.
The writers wanted Sam and Ruby to get married, but once Jared and Gen got married in real life, they thought it would be tacky to recreate it on the show…
Sam’s name was originally going to be Sal, but they thought it didn’t sound right and changed it to Sam. The Winchester’s last name was originally going to be Harrison to pay tribute to actor Harrison Ford (because he wanted Dean to have the “devil-may-care swagger of Han Solo”). At some point it was changed due to someone named Sam Harrison living in Kansas, and had to changed it for legal reasons. Winchester was picked because Kripke likes the Winchester mystery house (Originally owned by the gun manufacturer, now a famous haunted house). John was going to be named Jack, but again they found there was a person living in Kansas with that name and had to change it.
So thanks to those people in Kansans we don’t have The Harrisons saving people and hunting things, because can you imagine Jack, Sal and Dean Harrison??? I’m not even going to get into the fact that Jensen was originally going to play Sam but liked Dean better…then we would have Jensen playing Sal married to Ruby and…
Just thank Chuck we ended up with Jensen as Dean and Jared as Sam and their last name is Winchester NOT freaking Harrison, and they are not reporters on a show called Unnatural.
I’m not sure what sources you’re using but some of these are rumors.
Jared and Gen didn’t announce their engagement until January 2010, nearly a year after they filmed Ruby’s death. The writers couldn’t have scrapped a Sam/Ruby wedding idea due to Jared and Gen getting married because they didn’t even get engaged until long after Ruby’s final episode was written. (x, x)
Jensen originally auditioned for Sam but was not offered the role, nor did he ask to be Dean. The producers called Jensen and asked if he’d be interested in playing Dean (because they’d decided to go with Jared as Sam), Jensen said yes and that the role had interested him from the start because he thought Dean was funny. (x)
John dying on the ceiling instead of Jess was one of many ideas that were scrapped and revised while writing the pilot but it wasn’t the original idea. The teaser Kripke wrote had John dying when the boys were young but he decided it’d be more interesting if they were raised to be hunters. (x)
